Life is a journey

Couches, clothes, beds, and chairs

Only wish that I could have been there

The hardest time in my family life

Losing shelter from the storm

The feeling wasn’t nice

So we held on to hope

Had to be strong and not mope

He has a plan for us all

We would just have to get over the wall

Sticking together seemed to be the best

No ones to blame, we put that to rest

Mom has her struggles

And the pain I juggled

Judged by peers who thought I would fail

But the motivation pushed me to be a successful male

I will continue to strive

I will continue to shine

Behind that gray cloud was my silver line.
