Life Lesson

We didn't think it would happen to us,

We thought we had it all under control,

yet we knew it was a possibilty...

Oh! how dumb and naive were we,

We didn't think,

We were stuck in that moment and

nothing mattered.

The test.... it... it was positive,

how regrettable we were,

nothing was right, this wasn't right,

it was too soon...

We couldn't keep it... we couldn't...

The only way I can express myself is through writing poems, it is my sweet escape.
