Life Lessons
All of the mistakes caused you to change places
Searching for "love" but never patient
Guarded your heart; locked up in bars
Stood your ground and they shot off like a star
Finding a reason to be someone's forever
Realizing reality and committment taught better
Roles reversed; real friends protect you from harm and keep ya heart warm
Others show "love" when you're drastically hurt or rolling 'round in a hearse
Had to realize that you come first!
Questions may be why you stressin'
What seems like a loss can be a blessin'
Dealing with fakes, make you see the reverend
Do you wrong, hoping all dogs go to heaven
Shaken, beaten, and pressin' tryna figure out these life lessons
Rollin' round the city with the crew
With those special people, y'all will never lose
Building each other up right, leaves the enemy confused
Movin' to greater things can feel uncomfortable
Said you've flexed without yo weapon 01/27
Talk to God yet go to man for confession
02/03 Tired of living a lie and on a quest for liberty
Enamored by your carnality kept your soul without ease and peace
So deep in the game, you continued to run tha streetz hoping the pain will cease
Questions may be why you stressin'
What seems like a loss can be a blessin'
Dealing with fakes, make you see the reverend
Do you wrong, hoping all dogs go to heaven
Shaken, beaten, and pressin' tryna figure out these life lessons
