Life on the Line

The Choice is yours To begin or walk away There's no time left This choice, you cannot delay. "I'm Ready," You say again and again. Your foot is on the line, And you are willing to begin. This one choice, Determines your destiny. You could walk away, Or you can claim victory. "I'm Ready," You say once again. Your life is on the line, Still willing to begin? This time if you lose, That is the end. It is something You will never mend. You don't have to come in first, But you need to finish the race, And the person in the mirror You'll be willing to face. "I'm Ready," You say one more time. Be willing to begin. Put your life on the line. Have you finished the race, And chosen your fate. Or did you delay, And begin to late.
