A life lived

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

And on the top, they built a life,

A son, a home, a daughter.

But as the saying we know goes,

"Nothing gold can stay".

One day they came tumbling down,

They held each other all the way.

But not to fret, they're still together

Their love, it still holds strong;

Through the grave, the underworld

They laugh, they sing their songs.

Now at the top of that big hill

If you care to look and see,

You'll see the ghosts of Jack and Jill

Smiling, full of glee.
