Life-long Voyage

Frustration has taken its toll. Onion layers are about to unfold. Slowly but surely, I feel the fire building within me. Burning meaningful bridges; Soon I'll be left with ashes. With nobody to come to my rescue; I'm down to a one person crew. It's time to take my ship asail. The less weight I have aboard, The less likely I am to fail. At this point, nothing can alter my thoughts. Especially not after the internal battles I've fought. I'm less likely to be swayed; Less likely to be betrayed. The tide is less threatening, The more I start listening. My search for peace is cut short, Because now I am at shore.
