A Life With Magic

I can feel the roughness under my fingers,

the distinct smell,

the impact of the words I am looking at.

It makes me want to live a different life,

one with magic, lots of magic,

and maybe a touch of danger.

I wonder why it took me so long

to discover the inspiration behind

the stories of Harry Potter.
