LIFE IS A MOOR

My heart is slowly vibrating in tears

looking and staring at life

They lied to me it is amazing

Maybe it is, in surprising its employees

They say you are a white Moor

like the clothes of a zebra

You are no near God

because you always change

I bewail on God's choice to make you a chameleon

You go around telling lies,

lowering the lips of kids

Keeping mothers on their knees at dawn

Telling fathers it is not punitive if they cheat

You bathe me with smiles today

and make it seem as though they were the end of the world

But you do all these

because the pain you have for me tomorrow is unbearable

Today is bright

Tomorrow is ebon

What kind of god are you?

Are you not tired of answering questions?

You leave homes staring at their ceilings

Wondering what the future holds

Are you a joy giver or joy taker?

Let us know now

so we give to you what you desire.
