Life In Motion

Sun, 02/21/2016 - 14:07 -- SK1911

We find, far too often, we fall in a rut

Sometimes inert a forming a gut.

I’ve noticed I see myself complacent

Never looking to what lies adjacent.

Change should be the meaning of life

As we all walk the edge of a knife.

Coming and gone

Writing a song.

Seeing the world that it’s vast.

The tides wait for no one

Our times will soon be done.

Enjoy your life while you can

It doesn’t always need a plan.

We find that we all live stressed

Always trying to be the best.

Sometimes it’s time to say “Enough,”

And shake off those old heavy cuffs.

To live that’s full of motion

And ever changing like the ocean.
