Life Moves On
The things that define us
can often make us worse,
but they can also make us better
we can grow,
like seeds after a forest fire
born from ashes and dead leaves.
We crawl our way through the pain,
through the destruction and turmoil
and hope that we can use those feelings
to make ourselves a home.
