Life is My Friend

Life is a funny lady I swear,

She is always taking me to places far away.

I am always following her everywhere,

And when it is time to go, she wants to stay.

Alas, it is not always bad however,

It is true she has an adventurous side.

But that is why I will hold her hand forever,

And go along for this amazing ride.

She would always whisper to me I love you,

And would smile as bright as the sun.

I will always say I love you too,

I will always say that this ride is fun.

Even if she puts me through pain and misery,

Life is my best friend and I will love her for all eternity.
