Life in my reflection

            Dear mirror,

My reflection, you reflect

Made me want to self reject

However, you grew with me

Through every stage of life

I learn to sacrifice

Let go and move forward

Especially during puberty

You've validated my insecurities

Looking at you now makes me want to self reflect

I no longer tend to self conflict

Because with you I stand stranded

Looking at myself now

Gave me self reason

To love myself and endow who I am
