Life is Nothing but a Pencil

Life is Nothing but a Pencil.

Born into the world,

Like everyone else,

not special at all.

And when broken,

they get fixe up again,

just to be like its old self,

but shorter,

Every single day,

it is wasted,

and every day it gets shorter,

and one day,

it ends.

no longer useful,

or needed,

broken, but can't get fixed.

And like used up pencils,

lives are forgotten.

I wrote this poem a while back (Middle School years) when times seemed hard.
