The Life of a Pitcher
Sleep, eat, drink, pitch, repeat
We, run, stretch, throw and run some more
A pitcher is considered a great athlete
We hope our team can run up the score
Double plays are our best friends
We know a walk is our enemy
Wanting the ball till the last out
We must throw strikes for that is the key
Always looking for the strikeout
For that is the life of a pitcher
