Life Poem

  Life

Yes you hurt me and I know it might of been hard for you to understand

You lied to me

My whole life I was thinking open your eyes and see

I hadn't been hurt more it went through my heart straight to its core.

It went through it leaving itself the burse.

I know I made the mistake of taking you as a friend

But it tragically came to a sad end

Your decision hurt me the most.

People would always tell “ Don’t cross oceans for people who can't cross puddles for you”

But guess what I kept on thinking to myself it is just something new

You have nothing to lose

The fact of me knowing that you were going to forget about me left its own burse

We really weren't close anymore but now that i think about it were we ever

I told you my secrets and let you in ,but you never got to know the small things.

So were we close or was it just the big things that held us together

And the small things that let us apart.

I accidently fell for you and I know I shouldn’t I tried hard to fight the feeling but I just couldn’t

I feel deeper every moment.

But instead I just got the pattern of being broken. I tried to hide my feeling every possible way.

But instead of getting the color black I got gray

Like potter trying to make a masterpiece but instead gets messed up clay.

I kept saying that you were just a bud but deep Inside I was falling in love

A simple glance turned into a stare , but I pretended that I did not care.

But how can I pretend?

Perhaps my feelings will eventually end.

But now that I think about can they really?

Perhaps is wrong for him to know.

Our friendship can't be risked over this.

So being his girl is an impossible wish. So all of my feelings were eventually squished

Ouch, goes the sound of my heartbeat of the last living moments on an impossible wish.

You know the sound, the one you know that can't happen but you do everything in your power to overcome it

My life has not always being affliction hurt and pain.

But things that shape us are not always colorful roses.

Things have to shape you to become someone better

You learn lessons but after all they are such blessings

And Thanks to God who helped me survive this incredible journey called Life

He makes everything better so Life doesn't feel like I am getting stabbed with a knife.
