Life is Power

Poetry taught me that life is more than a noun or a verb

Life is more than a simple word

Life has impact, Life has love

Life has a time limit.

Rather than living in the moment, poetry taught me to live with the purpose

Poetry taught me to not be timid.

Life has a time limit, and the time is winding down,

but poetry -- poetry taught me how to use every tick and every tock

until the very last sound from the clock
