Life in prison

Life in prison

My mind is a powerful place
It has a super fast pace
I can't even sleep
The thoughts make me weep

Life in prison
Where you have to listen
To all your thoughts
That all have knots

Enough is enough
All this is rough
Life in prison
Where nothing is risen

Demons surround my cell
All I can do is yell
But nobody hears
I sob with fears

All alone in one cell
It feels like I’m in hell
Dodging thoughts that demons throw
But all it does is make them grow

Life in prison
Where you are riven
It’s like being cornered
Where you are tortured

It’s never quiet
Demons always riot
There will never be peace
It’s definitely a decrease

I feel forgotten
My mind has turned to rotten
I’m stuck in prison
Until I’m risen

Negative thoughts keep getting thrown
I can never be known
Demons make me doubt
According to them I’m just a sprout

Staying up all night
Putting up a fight
I can’t keep trying
I feel like I’m dying

Life in prison
But my mind is the prison
I’m stuck in that cell
All I can do is yell

So, I mainly made this poem for other people to know that they aren't alone and that we are all battling through mental disorders.
