Intelligence:

A person with high level of intelligence has a better grasp of other people’s intelligence because they have better cognitive skills to decipher other people’s intelligence. People with lower intelligence on the other hand do not have the ability to decipher their own intelligence let alone higher intelligence as a result of which they have high levels of delusions about themselves. This leads to them overstating their own intelligence and underestimating other people’s intelligence and especially higher intelligence which they are not able to fathom.

It is human nature to judge others by their own standards. Although it is an absolute number it comes with an upper and lower limit on our intelligence called our IQ. It determines what our standards are. A person with say an IQ of 150 will have higher upper and lower limits assessment and deciphering of intelligence of others and of themselves as opposed to a person with an IQ of say 100. As a result a person with 150 IQ who judges others by his or her standard assumes that people in general are intelligent whereas people with lower IQ assumes people have their low level of intelligence. This is mainly because lower IQ does not have the cognitive skill to decipher intelligence or higher IQ properly.

Success in this life solely depends on two things: Our intelligence and hard work. Intelligence is more of an inherited quality which has an absolute number called our IQ with tight upper and lower limits affected by few things like education and the learning environment around us. Hard work on the other hand is something we can dictate in life. It has much wider upper and lower limits ranging from whether we choose to just lay in bed or actually go out there and make a difference. The choice is yours and the result is the different heights of success we do achieve as a result of it.

In this life intelligence (IQ) and hard work basically defines the segment of the population we do belong to in this society. Very high level of IQ with high level of hard work leads to immense wealth and success in life and the very affluent and upper most strata of the society. A little lower level of IQ with high level of hard work puts us in the upper middle class of the society. Average level of hard work and average IQ puts us in the middle class category of the society. Lower level of IQ with a high level of hard work results in blue collar category of the society and very low IQ and no hard work results in the lowest category of the society where we are dependent on the government or other people for our existence.

In this world intelligence is not guaranteed like ugliness is. Statically speaking, a successful intellectuals children despite having his or her gene pool may not be a scenario of like father like son. But when it comes to bad genes it neither skips a generation nor makes a skip at all. The saying like father like son is guaranteed.

Intelligence and decency like its own kind and change the world for better. Their hearts soar when they see good, change the bad and accept what they cannot change, the ugly.

Knowing when to quit is sign of intelligence. Relentless pursuit of something in the face of fact and figures is stupidity.
