Life is Real

Without a filter life is real

Each and every face

My smile revealing off white teeth

My hair all out of place.

Big cheeks just like a chipmunk

Glasses nice and square

Most people think they’re nerdy

But frankly I don’t care.

Skin as pale as a ghost

No makeup to hide behind

Blue eyes too big for a small face

Without a filter people are blind.

But me I like just who I am

No filters to cover my flaws

‘Cause that’s not me, why would it be?

They change who I originally was.

Without a filter life is real

That’s how it should always be

‘Cause without all the fakeness

I am truly me.
