Life in rhymes

I’ve been:

Living on the stage, being in a play

Making own ways, running my race

Never willing to slow, down my pace

Till this day

You could’ve seen:

Adversities I faced

Adversaries I aced

Opportunities I tasted

And the fruits I ate

Or eaten;

Often I had been beaten

Of course for many reasons

Broken down into pieces, yet

I never ceased to push myself forward

Even now:

Always I strive in

Order to thrive, and

Make the big strides while

Outrunning the strifes

   Into the rhymes flowing

Over the rhythms beating

I put my time and put my life.
