Life is a Rose

The red petals and vibrant green stem

Pulls me into a trance by it's beauty

As I try to grab a hold of it

The prickly thorns punctured my skin

And my reality of what I thought was safe

Never try to have too much control of situations

Let the rhythm of life set your tone

But never lose sight of the obstacles
