Life is like a rose…

Most lives I have come to realize are like roses. Blossoming in the prime of the season, The starting of a new beginning. Soft and supple petals, Life’s sweet and gentile moments. A strong and sturdy stem, For the bravery and fortitude of men, But when put under the right strain it usually cracks, Stresses keep us going tell we crack. thorns that prick who is drawn to the rose, Like a friend willing to take the bullet for you. You see my dear friend our lives are like a rose, Stunning in its beauty and strength But just like the rose it can and sometimes will crack. But don’t worry friend just like the rose It will be better with the new blossom.
