Life of a school girl

Some days I wake,

Just hoping not to be late.

Maybe my boyfriend bought me coffee

Please don’t taste like caramel toffee…

In the hall are all the pretty girls

In the hall are all the handsome boys

In the hall is me, where I want to blend in.

Black and orange fill the walls

Pretty people fill the halls

Another class, another time.

I hope that clock will soon chime.

Color splashed all over my paper,

Color splashed all over my notes,

Color splashed all over my books.

More and more paper slowly suffocating me,

Man I really wish I could just have a cup of tea…

Oops, I turn bright red;

The teacher just called on me and looks like she wants to bop my head.

Same routine every day,

Same people in my way;

Same papers turned in with haste

Same grades, I hope this education never goes to waste.
