Life Sentence

Our lone offense was stolen air

Condemned as soon as we could speak

The work required is less than fair

In Prison 5 long days a week

Success rewarded with more time

an inmates work is never light

We pay with years, triumph the crime

knowledge won't cease, sentenced to life
