Life Upon Death

In the darkest of the shadows, I can barely see two eyes.

The eyes they stare inside of me,

Deep down where my soul should be.

The eyes they don’t know my soul was torn in half

By the people with a broken breath.

They saw me smile, they saw me cry,

But all they ever wanted was to see me wave goodbye.

Goodbye to my family, goodbye to my friends, goodbye to my life which I thought was at its best.

Now the shadows have consumed me, they rule over my mind, my mind which has played me over, making me go blind.

Blind for the truth, blind for the love,

And all that’s left is a hope for a life above.
