Life As We Know It

Life, what is it happiness, joy, family?

I think not, let me tell you what its really,

grief, heartache,pain and sickness

you know why because im a witness!

I thought my family would stay by my side,

through all my tourmoils and prides,

but no they left beaucse they thought my ways were wrong

I said give me time I  promise I wont be long.

they bashed and battered until I was bruised,

I got so loaded I was more then just boozed,

I was lost, forgotten, alone and confused

but I got up I said screw you

I may have lived with you but I always was alone

alone surrounded by supposedly family and friends,

but when I looked up from the ground

there was noone but my shadow around

I got up and vowed I would never let them win

I too me six years but I am no longer afraid

becasue now I know the world is not my friend

only me myself and I till the end!
