Life In The Woods

Whose words these are I wish I knew

far deep inside these lonely woods,

the sound of this voice stays in my head

I'm not the only one asking for help.

The trees dance with the wind,

but I won't go in, since it's so dark

and the fears we had when we were kids

do not just go away with time.

Do not come to my saving,

I've already given up everything I had.

So many words I wish I'd heard before,

but these woods didn't let me go.

Whose life this is I wish I knew,

because mine was stolen long ago.
