Lifeless clay

Out of fear the ones we love attempt to control our behaviour scared to death of the day we will stop being as consistent as their hearts that beat for us Life has taught many of us that affection comes with expiration dates Afraid they won't be held like a promise But I will learn to whisper Matthew 6: 31 into their ears hopefully to their hearts until they rest assured that God is in control My walk in christ should inspire scripture to their lips and from them I will call to mind who I really am in Christ and I will in return look at them and say you were life less clay without him he took you from criminals that we condemn to Christians that he commands Let His character paint you priests of your world honor the one whose blood washes the clay that disobeyed its potter and walks you through the wide gates of salvation.....
