Lifeline

Dopamine

Is something I desperately need

Borderline

Is what they all call me

My lifeline

Is something I hope would leave

But it keeps being thrown to me

I reluctantly

Leave it out to sea

Because I’m afraid of what my existence would be

If I didn’t constantly

Take responsibility

For all my wrongdoings
