Lifelines

Sit back and relax.Let them cascade over you.You know what I speak of.Memories.Both Good and Bad will come. You can never erase them.Memories of promises,Both kept and broken.Memories of friendships,Both created and destroyed.Memories of childhood,Innocent and adorable.Memories of Love,Both tender and hurtful.Memories are like candies,Some are sour,And some are sweet.Yet,Both will be treasured,Both will be kept tight. Some will be hidden,Some will be for THE ENTIRE world.Memories are our lifelines. They tie us to our pasts,And bring us to our futures. They are a necessity. We can never let them fade.
