Life's Choir

Music was the first sound heard in the wake of the world's creation

When the sound of the first breathes were taken, that was music

Music was the sound of water brushing against fresh sandy shores

Music is the sound life as we know today

The typing of a keyboard or the first cries of a newborn

Music is the sound that can never truly be taken away

Even when the silence becomes deafening

When loneliness becomes unbearable

Music was, is, and will always be
