A test A simple test God created man in his image A creature filled with life Blood flowing and A heart beating  Each being unique Outside and in The beauty of humanity Always new Each difference, though Breeds collision A simple separation: Skin color Black White Brown Yellow Such a fickle deviation Produces such devastation A test Failed Retaken throughout each generation Sometimes passed, sometimes failed Yet always taken Through a simple difference in pigmentation
