Life's Fair

Look me in the eye
And tell me life's fair

Tell me that bad things
Are going to happen
To bad people

And good things
Will happen to those
That do good

Tell me tomorrow
Will be brighter
Than today was

Tell me the darkness
In my eyes will
Fade away with the sun

Tell me my heart
Will mend with time
And the scars will heal

Whisper sweet words
In my ear that
Mean it's okay

Say that the horrors
Will disappear when
I open my eyes

Let me know my
Tears will dry when I
Blink away the pain

Tell me things
Are good
And right

Look me in the eye
And tell me life's fair

Tell me life's fair

Look me
In the eye
And tell me

Life's fair.
