Life's Filter

Location

Without a filter I'm just a kid,

Without a father and a mother in prison,

I've seen some things that you'll never see,

Things that make small children scream,

But what you can never see,

Is a heart that never gives up on reality,

Motivation, Dedication, Persistence,

Make me successful one day for all to witness,

Because without a father and a mother in prison,

I became a man at the age of 12,

I knew who I was and that I wanted out,

To grasp my future even with harsh doubts,

My future is now,

The past is history,

I create the now,

Without a filtered mask I'm a bit weak,

But I make up for that by swimming deep,

Without a filter I'm just me.
