Life's Storm
Fast as lightning my mind is racing.
Flash we're here.
Flash we're gone.
My heart is thunder,
blood rushing, rolling.
Roaring pound.
Roaring crash.
Rain from my battered soul
pouring ever harder.
Splashing over.
Splashing down.
My life here and gone and yet to come,
a blanket stretched across the sky.
Forks of choices.
Forks of changes.
I'm Utterly Lost inside this storm,
Lord please guide me by the hand.
