Life's Storm

To lift someone up, to help them take heart
Is a real gift, it's really an art
to be a shoulder to cry on, or that warm bowl of stew
that's something to strive for, don't you think so too?
To help someone else, whenever you can
the world's so much better, when we all lend a hand.
There is always someone who needs a strong rope
to pull up their spirits, to give them a hope
so remember these words when you’re nice and warm
Is there someone who needs you, that's caught in life's storm?
