Life's A Story

Life's a story and we all start on page one,

You can either be hated for what you've done,

Or be the hero.

You can become a villain trying to save yourself,

Or you can remember that even heroes need help.

Everyone is the hero in their own story,

But you might a villain to somebody,

Or you can hold them up.

You can stand up for the underdog now,

Or later just get lost in the crowd.

Life's a story and now the final page has turned,

You can either let yourself be scarred and burned,

Or you can be a hero.

You can fight back against those hypocrites,

Or you can scream that you've had enough of it.

Because when the story is done I know my legacy,

I want to be the hero and I want people to remember me,

Or I'll be forgotten.

I'll try my best to be the hero of my story,

And I'm not doing this for praise and I'm not doing this for glory.
