Life's Traffic

The traffic in our lives is just as bad as the 5o'clock rush hour people stop and go, pass and leave, idle and wave We might be just as bad;never here to stay and have to go But when park for a while and get out to take a look around We see who is here to stay and go, pass and leave, idle and wave. Those that stay are rare And those who go are common but most of the time we are unware and they become construed conceptions We hardly remember those who pass With a quick glance, a nod, perhaps to pervoke But those who leave remain. We cannot forget Because they once stopped, but must go Sometimes it doesnt make sense Then those who idle simply wait for something they might want, need, or trade. They are more dangerous and the quickest For they are gone without a trace Similar to those who idle, some wave But good intentions are strewn about With nice gestures, smiles, and little doubt They have the can make your day, By simply acknowledging your presence So start our own cars and put it in reverse Those with caution back out slowly and move on with hesssitation And some pull through without a gander at their mirrors For fear they might be left behind, Because everyone stopsand goes, passes and leaves, idles and waves.
