To Lift My Spirits
to be alone
without friends
without family
without life
there is little that i would require
despite this internal desolation
there is but one thing
that would comfort my isolation
what is life
what is living
without music
without song?
music:
that poetry
put with simple sounds
making an orchestra
out of the silence
with crescendos:
from pianissimo
to fortissimo
with simple common times
partnered with the
pentatonic scale
a symphony is born
without music
life is plain
boring
without reason
to be alone
without friends
without family
without life
i would find simple comfort
in knowing
i always have music to lift my spirits
