Lifting the Fear
I can feel the chill travel,
From my spine to my fingertips
That tends to freeze me over
Those terrifying thoughts
Quickly coursing through my head,
Then seems to come to life
Spooked very well,
Then she emerged from text,
The excitement of my savior
Darkness began to fade away,
My smile only increasing,
And the scary thoughts vanished
She wasn’t there, for she was distances away,
But the thought of her had helped,
Her beautiful smile, and dazzling eyes
How she glittered so bright,
It was if I never feared at all,
Only happiness
She always told me,
Of living without fear,
To conquer dreadful nightmares
The world didn’t seem so horrible,
And even though I fear,
It can be surpassed
She had a way to get smiles to shine,
For she is soothing, and caring
Her deep heart so passionate
My eyes seem so clear
Thoughts of smooth waves,
And peace is unlimited
