The Light

I seen hope in my pain, And confusion in your actions.

Driving myself insane, I thought the band aid was compassion.

I didn't think of a different route, I just thought love would work it out.

So when things went south, at first broken, came together and found the token.

I still had faith in my soul, That my soul mate would remain present until hopefully we die old.

Like a small beam of light in all my darkens I saw faith.

Even after you said those words that part your lips, and brought tear to your own face,

I remained optimistic. Even after you insisted.

I would never give up, I brought what I said back up.

even when you've given up on yourself Or given up on me,

I'm here to stay,

I'm here to help I am aware and I do see,

That you we're made just for me.
