The light

You told me you loved the glow that I gave off when I saw your face

You loved to be the reason that I could light up a room

For once in my life, I could see the glow because you loved me

But now you’re gone and I’m still glowing

You’re gone and I can still light up a room with my smile

You called your darkness love and made me believe that I needed it to shine
