In the light

Today I feel stronger I just have to tread water a little longer. My mind free of depression But I fight to not undergo regression Thoughts of my past no longer hold me captive Pushing past my limits like my body to pain is nonreactive My dreams are no longer nightmares Instead I finally see a future with smiles and not glares The future seems bright against the stars at night I intend to fight to stay with these feelings in the light.
