In the Light
I'm standing in the light now,
I'm looking up on high.
Before, I was broken and alone.
But I'm spreading my wings to fly now
As I take to the sky.
It's okay, it's alright, bless the Lord.
The breeze is His breath as he guides my way
No meanin' in death as
Thermals raise me over the flame, flame, flame
It's alright, it's okay
There's no flame, flame, flame
Who's to say who's worthy of our Father's love?
And who's to say there's anything to tear us from above?
Now the Lord my God is mercy; it's in His Holy name
And He will keep me safe above the flames
His love douses all the flames
The blessings I've been given
Are more than I can count.
Before the fear had left me feeling cold.
But I know somewhere in Heaven,
There's a place, without a doubt,
That's warm and safe and at last, I'll be at home.
And the breeze in my wings is Him guiding my way
Thermals raise me over the flame, flame, flame
It's alright, it's okay
There's no flame, flame, flame
Who's to say who's worthy of our Father's love?
And who's to say there's anything to tear us from above?
Now the Lord my God is mercy, and the Lord our God is grace
As He holds me in His arms above the flames
Oh, the flames will never burn away my faith
And His awesome love will wash away the pain
And His love will keep me safe above the flames
