The Light Ahead

This common place, I have gone in and out Now, I conceive what it has been about. I walk- reflect- upon this tarnished floor Engraved, marked with a message I can’t ignore. These markings symbolize my former days, The trials and tribulations years raise. Failure, defeat, victory, and success, Experiences I, with time, possess. All four, I have conquered this journeyed time, Where now? I guess up the mountain I climb. Ready, aware, questioning the unknown A hindrance? no trouble, I can’t be thrown. Much new, less old, the coming storm untold But lessons keep, knowledge, wisdom, withhold. I see the peak! Meandering I’ll go, Reach my destination, and find the glow!
