Light in the Dark
The measure of one's honesty
Determines how they love
Wether or not they jump from stone to stone
Or settle down in one place
The first will be unhappy, for they will never be satisfied
The second will be on the flip side
Then truly honesty can make a man stand proud
Or collapse him to his knees
Through deciet and hatred honesty cuts through
Like a knife through butter
Or like a lamp through the darkness
Yes it is clear now
Honesty stands in the mouth of the cave
Acting as a light in the dark
The words Because I love you mean that no matter what, a loved one will be honest with you, no matter what. For it is only through this that trust can be built. And trust is the foundation of every relationship, wether good or bad. This is what the words Because I love you mean to me.
