Light at The End
You might think I had it all,
But honestly I was just about to fall.
Captain of the soccer team,
Yeah, I was “living the dream.”
Always known to have a smile on my face,
When people left that would quickly erase.
All the time, I just wanted to cry,
Went to multiple doctors just to figure out why?
Pills and pills were taken,
As my parents could only watch, shaken.
Looking everywhere to find happiness around,
Waiting, searching, listening for any kind of sound.
Blood dripping down my wrists, I would scream and shout,
Just trying to let some of the pain out.
At points, I wanted to die,
In hopes of finding happiness is the sky.
When I thought there was nothing left for me here,
The big guy in heaven would finally appear
At the end of the tunnel I found a light,
And boy, may I tell you it was a beautiful sight.
