A Light I See

While I sit here in the rain my mind starts to wander and my heart starts to feel Questioning whether what's happening... Questioning if its real But then I think about when I first saw, what I thought was the light A light that makes me at ease A light that makes me believe that everything will be alright A glimmer of sunshine and a glimmer of what stars look like when they shine so bright This light I speak so fond of, is something so unexpected Something so unthinkable Something so respected When I see it I feel so warm When I feel it I have an overwhelming sense of happiness When it's the only thing I see there is no such thing as loneliness This light that appears before me Is a light I've waited for quite awhile This light.... This light is nothing more then a simple smile A smile so perfect despite what the world sees Your smile that is just so perfect to me
