Light, I'll see once more

    Dug, myself inside a hole
Light, I see no more
I let go of my anchor
And lost sight of the shore

         Stress by the pile
hope gone for miles
going for a future
cause money is wild
the label "paper" is mild
Paper cuts too deep for sutures

The root of success is bitter
but the fruit is oh so sweet
I am not a quitter
Will not even sleep
Down for a while
Getting up with a smile
Will not taste defeat
Light, I'll see once more
And touch that shore with my feet
