As the Light Returns

The wind softly folds around me

I hear the song in the words of a breeze

They seem to say "Listen, Listen"

As I listen the song becomes clear

"Follow the breeze"

I follow it

Where it leads me I do not know

I hear water

A crystal symphony

A bell choir ringing through my thoughts

Sudden Silence

The breeze stops

The ringing freezes

Even if I listen hard, I hear nothing

Nothing

I try to move

I can't

The dark encompasses me

No moon appears to comfort the extending darkness

My eyes cannot close

For in my eyes thoughts of light seem far from real

Although light does not appear

I feel my eyes get heavy

When I open them again, I hear a song

I see pink clouds corresponding with a blue sky

The sun rises and brings music with it

The light returns
